Town Hall
The Town Hall is the main building of your village. The higher your town hall level is the more buildings you can build, the higher you can upgrade your buildings and the higher you can develop your troops and spells. The town hall haves high hit points, that way it takes a while to destroy.
Most people place their town hall in the center of their village, this way it doesn’t get destroyed easily. It is recommended that players who farm a lot place it outside the village, in a way that the attacker can easy destroy it. That way you get a 12 hours shield and your resources are safe.
The town hall stores 1.000 of gold and elixir. It is recommended to surround your town hall with walls if you don’t want it to be destroyed. It is wise to place your town hall in range of your defenses.
Most people upgrade their town halls too fast: they can build more buildings but earn less in raids. If you attack a village with 2 town hall levels lower you can only steal 50% of the available loot. This drops to 25% if the th is 3 levels lower. It is wise to upgrade all your buildings first and upgrade all your troops before upgrading your town hall. This way it will give you maximum loot.
